You’re invited to the first program in the 2025 Grand Homes and Gardens Speaker Series, Louis Kahn and Toby and Steven Korman House with speaker William Whitaker, Director and Chief Curator of the Architectural Archives of the University of Pennsylvania Stuart Weitzman School of Design and author of The Houses of Louis Kahn (Yale University Press, 2013). The Princeton Battlefield Society (PBS) and Morven Museum & Garden are pleased to host the 2nd Cadwalader Lecture featuring local author and historian John Rees. Rees will discuss the largely unknown and under-appreciated role Black soldiers played in the fight for Independence at Princeton and the American Revolution.

A National Historic Landmark, Morven is situated on five pristine acres in the heart of Princeton, New Jersey. The home of Richard Stockton, a signer of the Declaration of Independence and former New Jersey Governor’s Mansion, Morven showcases the rich cultural heritage of the Garden State through regular exhibitions, educational programs, and special events.
