In this workshop, Tracey will guide attendees in how to create a more meaningful and abundant life, sharing stories and the experience of writing unexpected letters of appreciation. Arranged by The Practitioners of Musick and taking place in Morven’s Stockton Education Center, the event will reimagine an actual concert and dance that took place in Princeton on August 22, 1774 at the “Sign of the College” tavern.

Wells will deliver an illustrated lecture and discuss her recently published book “A New Jane Austen: How Americans Brought Us the World's Greatest Novelist.” This free event is offered in partnership with the Princeton Public Library and the Jane Austen Society of North America - New Jersey Region. You’re invited to an illustrated hybrid talk with historian Lucia McMahon exploring the “hidden histories” of women’s educational worlds in early America. Professor McMahon’s most recent book, “The Celebrated Elizabeth Smith,” will be available for purchase and signing with the author following the talk.
