Festival of Trees Winter Garden Party

Close out Morven’s 20th anniversary with our annual winter fundraising event, the Festival of Trees Winter Garden Party. This year’s event celebrates the Festival’s theme “Deck the Halls with Matzo Balls!” inspired by Governor Hughes’ family tradition. Hear from Governor Hughes’ daughter Honey Hughes, explore the museum’s display of trees, enjoy drinks and food around the fire pit, and so much more.

Holiday Wreath Making Workshops

All workshop sessions are sold out at this time. Your newest holiday tradition! Create a wreath using a variety of natural decorations from Morven’s gardens, ribbon, and assorted “holiday bling.” No prior experience is required. Morven’s horticulturalist Louise Senior will guide participants and offer advice throughout the session. Light refreshments will be provided.

Landscape Painting in Princeton

In this four-week mini-course with the Arts Council of Princeton, students will be inspired by the grand landscape, heirloom plants, and trees of Morven, the former New Jersey Governor’s Mansion. The instructor will offer both beginner and more advanced instruction and guidance throughout the morning via individual and group critiques. Open to students of all media (pastels, oil, acrylic and watercolor paints) and all levels.
