Native to Assam, India, these peppers grow slowly at first, but by September, your plant will develop into a bushy, eye-catching specimen. As it matures, it will bear an abundance of fiery fruits that are hottest when grown in full sun. The peppers themselves are slender, 2-3 inches long, with thin walls and a distinctive wrinkled texture, transitioning from green to orange and finally ripening to a deep red. Deer and rabbits rarely bother these spicy plants.
