Winner of the Royal Horticultural Society‘s Award of Garden Merit, this is one of the very finest Pelargoniums (annual Geranium) with stupendous jagged foliage and vivid flowers. Each palmate leaf has a center of dramatic bronze and is outlined in bright chartreuse green. The star shaped hot orange flower is a bright and elegant contrast with this foliage. Its compact growing habit is excellent in containers and windowboxes, but is also lovely bedded out in the landscape. These geraniums are considered deer and rabbit resistant, and they bloom all season, but they do absolutely best when planted in rich soil and amply fed with organic fertilizer and fish emulsion. Some say fertilizer is essential. Bring Vancouver Centennial inside just before frost for an easy, striking winter houseplant!
